Product Description ?

This is a manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with Chicago Pneumatic ratchet/wrenchs. This o-ring provides an air-tight seal for the valve. Over time this o-ring will shrink, become brittle and crack allowing for air leaks. At that time it should be replaced. It is made out of rubber and it is sold individually.

Replacing this item you would need hex key/allen wrench and pliers to replace this item.

    Removed the throttle valve plug
    Remove the old o-ring, spring and throttle valve
    Installed the new throttle valve, spring and o-ring on the throttle valve plug and tightened it

    Cleaned the tool inside and out
    Remove the throttle valve plug
    Installed the throttle valve
    Installed the spring
    Put the o-ring on the valve plug
    Dropped some air tool in it, hooked it up to the air hose, It ran like a new tool

    Air Ratchet would not work, It had not been used in quite a while.

    Removed plug with the screwdriver. Replaced valve-throttle, O-ring, and plug. Lubricated the wrench with air tool lubricant. Worked perfectly. Straight forward repair using the diagram on the website. No issues.

    Replaced plug throttle valve only a couple parts in there. It is a 20 year old CP air ratchet I was surprised you had parts for it. Easy cheep fix. I will always check eReplacementParts first.

    No power and air leakage in air ratched wrench

    1. Removed black plastic screw cap from body of wrench.
    2. Removed old spring and plastic valve.
    3. Cleaned valve seat.
    4. Removed o-ring from plastic screw and replaced with new o-ring.
    5. Put new valve, spring and cap screw in body
    6. Test to confirm.

    1. unscrew cap.
    2. pull spring and debris.
    3. clean area with denatured alcohol.
    4. blow down with compressed air.
    5. add new throttle valve to spring, with plumbers grease.
    6. add o ring to outer housing, with plumbers grease.
    7. screw down housing to snug, you are ready to play.
