This is an OEM clear plastic lid for a food processor bowl. This is the lid only; all other components are sold separately. To assemble the lid, place it onto the bowl, align the unlock icon on the cover with the unlock icon on the bowl. Turn the cover counterclockwise towards the lock icon until you hear a click. The lock icon on the cover should now line up with the lock mark on the bowl. When the lid is secured properly in place, the safety mechanism on the lid and bowl will align. The food processor will not work if the lid is not locked properly onto the bowl, and the bowl must be secured onto the base correctly before the lid can lock into position. If after assembling your new lid, the unit is not working, check to make sure all these components are properly in place.
