Product Description ?

This left crank arm is black in color and is 172.5mm in length with a hollowtech II spindle interface. A few reasons your crank arm might require replacing are if the threads of the pedal are worn, and the pedal comes undone easily. They may become loose fitting due to a damaged mating hole, which can result in a screeching sound while pushing forward on the pedal. The crank arm can also crack, which can happen if you retighten it too many times, wearing the mating holes down. If you have been in an accident this could cause a bend in the crank arm, however crank arms are very strong, so a bend isn’t common.
To remove the crank arm, you’ll first need to loosen the pinch bolts, remove the left side crank cap (Shimano cranks use an eight-pointed star driver), pull left arm off spindle with your hand (can use a soft mallet if it needs to be lightly tapped off). Use a flat screwdriver to lift the stop plate upward (some models do not require this). Remove remaining crank arm by pulling it to the right and off the bike.
