that held old the old plastic tank in place.
I removed the old tank. It took a few minutes as I didn't want to damage and wiring in the area in maneuvering the tank out of the spot.
I used players to take the press clamp off the fuel line from the tank to the carb.
I took several minutes to throughly clean the area of the old tank, it was really dirty!
The new tank was a perfect fit.
I reconnected the fuel line to the tank and bolted on the 10mm hold down bolts. Put some gas in, checked for any leaks, and done.
I was just very happy you still had a replacement tank available! Due to the age of our Craftsman riding mower parts availability is becoming questionable.

I have been searching for a new gas tank for over a year with no luck. When I found ereplacementparts.com I entered Craftsman riding mower and the tank P/N and the correct tank suddenly appeared! I ordered and received the new tank in 3 days. I opened the box, completed the exchange, and was mowing within 20 minutes. I will certainly pass on my story and promote your website to all my friends. Again thank you so much.
