    Great service!
    The part arrived very quickly considering the current mailing environment. Everything was well packaged and worked as expected. The lawnmower is back in action. Keep up the good work; it is appreciated.

    Repair Made Easy - Installation Videos Very Helpful
    Simple part. Experiences shared by others saved a lot of effort and probably frustration. Examples: remove a wheel, slides off one direction, use socket to replace axle washer. Should suggest also buying new washer when buying the flap.

    Perfect fit! Glad they still have these things!!!
    No problems with it! Hope it lasts longer than the easily rippable one install by the guys at the Black & Decker service center!🤞🏼

    Perfect fit, slightly tricky replacement
    The trick was to use a heat gun on Low setting (a hair dryer would probably work) to remove the old flap by peeling the channel off the mower's grooves. I also had to scrape out the residual rubber cement that was apparently used to keep the old one in place, and unscrew the brackets holding the rear axle in place in order for the new flap to slide on.

    Lawn mower protective rubber flap tore off

    The flap slides onto the bottom rear of the deck and protects the user from objects that may be thrown from the mower while in operation. To replace the flap, I:
    1. Turned mower over (it's electric, so no fluid leakage);
    2. Removed screws holding one side of the rear axle to the deck (because the wheels are in the way when trying to slide off the old flap);
    3. Levered the wheel on that side out of the way so I could slide off the old flap;
    4. Used the hammer to pound off the old flap (because the flap is held on with an interference fit);
    5. Used the hammer again to pound on the new flap;
    6. Reattached the screws holding on the rear axle.

    , Paint can opener to pry off the push ring

    1. Turn lawn mower on side
    2. Pry hub cap off wheel
    3. See that wheel is held on by push ring
    4. Google to see how to remove push ring without destroying it
    5. Determined that best way is with two paint can openers (like screwdrivers with bend at end
    6. Pry off push ring, remove wheel
    7. Remove old flap
    8. Install new flap and wheel
    9. Install push ring (used spark plug socket and hammer to install)
    10. Install hub cap

    Removed wheels and slid old one off and slid new one on. There is a stop on one slde of the slot so it can only removed one way. If you find the stop and remove the wheel opposite the stop you only need to remove one wheel. I did not realize this situation and removed the wrong wheel first and thus had to remove both wheels. You also have to buy new push nuts since when you remove the wheel you destroy the push nut. Removing push nuts is not easy, I used a large long screw driver and was able to pry them off. Used socket set to push new push nut on.

    I opened the compartment which houses the switch and the lever. I carefully removed four wire contacts from the old switch and clipped them on the new switch. I had to remove the old worn spring from the old lever and install the old spring in the new lever. The lawnmower wheel must be removed to slide off the old flap and slide on the new flap. The wheels have spring clips holding them in place so I am saving that job for another time.

    1. Drilled small holes into the retaining clip (for lack of a better term) holding the wheel in place.
    2. Placed a socket wrench over the clip and axle (for lack of a better term) and whacked it a few times to further break up the cllip. Yes, breaking the clip was necessary.
    3. Pried remnants of clip up with a screwdriver (wear safety glasses).
    4. Pulled the wheel off and slipped the flap on.
    5. Replaced the wheel with a new clip.

    unscrewed the rear wheels from the body and pryed the catcher plastic flap off and replaced it with the new one. screwed the rear wheel assembly back to the mower. Used a wrench to loosend the nut holding the mower blade and replaced the blade. Fairly easy once you unscrew the 4 screws holding the rear wheel assembly in place.

    had to remove rear wheel to allow old flap to slide off and new flap to slide on. Did not have correct push ring for axle diameter

    unscrewed brackets that held rear axle in place. flap came off easily. New flap slipped on easily. Really difficult to reattach rear axle because of lever that ties into the wheel height adjustment. Struggled, but finally figured it out. Would have been easy to remove one wheel but needed the correct push ring.
