Simply replaced the parts. I have ordered parts from you before for other saw repairs that weren't quite as easy as these. But these repairs were easy because I was able to get exactly what I needed from you. No telling how long it would have taken me to go out on my own looking for these parts. Your website and parts diagrams make it easy to do repairs even if you're not "mechanically inclined".

    1. I determined the motor itself was fine by removing the side cover and bar/blade and running the chainsaw.
    2. I removed the old side cover which appeared to have excessive wear in a few areas.
    3. I put on the bar and chain and fitted the new cover in place.
    4. I adjusted the tightness of the blade and made sure the chain oil reservoir was full.
    5. I started the chainsaw and it ran normally.
