    Adjustable Wrench, Steel wool, Teflon tape

    Removed the old Check Valve and Ferrule. Cleaned the threads with steel wool. Wrapped one end of the threads with Teflon tape and put it all back together and tightened all parts. Note: the check valve is installed very tight. You may need a pipe to go over your wrench for leverage to remove it..

    replaced the broken belt and also the check valve that caused the motor to overheat replaced all bad parts including motor mount grommet up and running smoothly like new!! about an hour job.

    Hairline cracks in the exhaust tube, drain valve not in working order and needed to be replaced.

    Screwdriver, Wrench Set, Stationary wheel grinder for deburring the exhaust tube.

    1. Release all the air from the tank and unplug the compressor.
    2. Removed the plastic cover from the top of the compressor.
    3. Located the exhaust tube and loosened the nuts on both ends to remove the old exhaust tube.
    4. Cut the new exhaust tube down to size and with a hacksaw and deburred the ends with stationary wheel grinder since I didn't have a pipe cutting tool to properly cut the tube down to size.
    5. Place the nuts and new ferrules onto the exhaust tube and installed it back onto the compressor.
    6. Reinstalled the plastic cover back onto the top of the compressor.
    7. Removed the old drain valve and installed the new.

    Check valve spring broke

    1.Removed copper pipe from air pump to check valve.
    2.Removed unloader line from pressure switch to check valve
    3.Removed non-functioning check valve
    4.Cleaned all threads
    5.Applied thread seal to all threads
    6.Installed new check valve
    7.Installed new ferrule to input air line
    8.Attached input airline to check valve.
    9.Waited for thread seal cure time
    10.Turned on pump, brought up to pressure, no leaks!

    Removed header tube between compressor and tank, removed and replaced check valve.
    Replaced the rubber ferrule as it fell apart when removed.

    Tested repair and that was fixed and that showed up 2 more problems, regulator piston was stuck, took regulator apart and freed up the piston and it worked and then the quick release coupling was leaking, Have not replaced it yet but that should be that last problem.
