Genie garage door repair.
Screw drive would not move. Repairman wanted to replace. $650.00 to replace. Turned out to be stripped coupler. $6.00 for coupler 10 minutes to replace. Works perfectly.

The right part to adapt
Had a hard time getting the specific coupler for my older Geenie. Got this one. It fit the motor and the worm gear on one side of teh coupler. Had to retool the other side which was smaller. Took patience, deliberate and steady work, but got it done. GARAGE WORKS!
