1. Tried to remove old knobs (failed)
2. Sprayed liberally with WD-40
3. Waited 24 hours
4. Removed old knobs (now easy)
5. Replaced with new knobs (very easy)

Pulled the old ones off and slipped the new ones on.

old Weber grill needed new parts
Replaced igniter kit.
Removed knobs and control panel from right side of grill.
Removed old manifold by removing two wingnuts that attach it to cook box.
Removed old burner tubes.
Inserted new burner tubes.
Attached new manifold to burner tubes and secured with wingnuts to cook box.
Replaced control panel and two old but usable knobs and one new knob.
Removed rusted catch pan holder from grease tray and replaced with new holder.

Rear burner control quit working.
1. Checked that the propane bottle valve was closed, then removed the propane connection.
2. Removed control knobs and unscrewed two Philips screws holding manifold cover; lifted and removed cover.
3. Removed old spider guards.
4. Loosened and removed two wingnuts from the bracket holding the manifold to the barbecue.
5. Removed manifold, ran a piece of wire through the burner tubes to check for blockages.
6. Attached new manifold using attached support hooks and old wingnuts.
7. Installed new spider covers; One was exceptional tight.
8. After cleaning cover reattached with new screws and nylon fillers (provided).
9. Installed new control knobs, and attached propane connector to bottle.
10. Turned on propane bottle and checked for leaks with soapy water; none.
11. Started grill normally and checked function of all control valves; AOK
12. Ready for BBQing!
