This is a self-basting lid assembly for a 20-quart roaster oven. The lid is placed over the roasting pan and base and helps to contain the heat needed for cooking. It has small openings to allow for the steam to release. It simply lifts on and off. To keep this lid well-maintained, it should be washed by hand after each use, using hot and soapy water with a sponge or gentle cloth, rinsed thoroughly, and towel dried. This lid assembly is sold individually, and sourced right from the original manufacturer.
