This is an authentic OEM part. The Milwaukee carbon brush and spring (2 required) is composed of metal, plastic and carbon. This item is compatible with several vacuum devices, and is fitted into the small by pass motor assembly. The purpose of brush and spring is to conduct current in an electric motor that powers the tool. Please note it is advised to replace both brushes at the same time to ensure even wear. This set is sold individually. A screwdriver is needed to make the proper removal and replacement.
