Product Description ?

This original KitchenAid part is found in all tilt head and some bowl lift mixers. The Attachment gear connects and drivers all attachments made for KitchenAid mixers. This gear will strip out when there is too much load on any attachments that are used. This gear is normally replaced with #9709627 Bevel Pinion and Center Gear.

• Philips head screwdriver
• Hammer

1. Removed upper case half by punching out pins and taking out screws.
2. Removed all gears and replaced.
3. Greased all gears and put mixer back together.
Mixed up cookie dough for a test run. No more skipping.

Followed video, step by step.... very easy, paused video, performed step... resumed video. This video (repair KitchenAid mixer) was encouraging and gave me the confidence to complete more than satisfactory repair.
