    variator bearings were worn out

    Disconnect and remove battery remove Tension from pulley remove belt disconnect pulley bracket from Tractor body remove worn bearings and cup,replaced with new bearings and cup.Tractor working like new.

    Vari pulley bearings failed and assembly locked up

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set, Hammer chisels gear puller

    Removed and took apart old assembly that had seized together . Replaced new bearings and new vari- pulley assembly and now it runs like new. The parts fit as they should except for the tension spring but I may have ordered the wrong part for the tension spring
