This is an authentic OEM part for use with Craftsman Lawn Tractors. The deck washout port attaches to the deck and washes grass and debris from under the deck. It is made out of metal and it is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the deck washout port is a socket set and a wrench Set.

Tube drain, you just push it into the drain on the oil drain on the machine and let the old oil run into a bucket.
You get out your socket set, find the correct size and screw the new washout port into the hole on the deck.
Then you screw the coupling Quick Connect thing onto the garden hose and click the hose into the Washout
... Read more Port. Fire up the mower, put the brake on and turn on water hose, then get back on the mower and engage the blades and let it wash out the junk from under the deck. Set brake, turn off blade and disconnect garden hose and turn the blades back on and let them run to dry things off under there. Lots of instructions but a very simple thing to do. BTW, I am going on 83 years old~
1. Removed the mower deck, ( not needed if the housing is clean)
2. Removed the mandrel assembly on both sides.
3. Pressure washed the entire deck.
4. After letting it dry repainted the under side of the deck. (let dry, reason for the length of time to complete ( about 1.5 hrs to dry)

6. Remounted the deck on tractor. set the belt.
When i engaged the belt for the deck I could not believe how quiet it was, it was a new lawn tractor...
Removed existing headlight wiring harness. Installed replacement headlight wiring harness, turned key to on position and headlights work like new. Noticed that old harness light bulbs are still good so will keep to use for spares. Existing harness had short where bulbs plug into.

Replaced lost shoulder bolt use to suspend mowing deck using a socket wrench.
Removed screw holding broken washout port. Removed port and replaced with new one. replaces screw and tightened using a small wrench.

Washout port was broken off, and the fuel check valve was bad
Used a 1/4 in drive ratchet and socket to remove the wasout port and then used pliers to remove the fuel check valve took about 15 minutes to replace both very easy job.

proceeded to cut grass
Had to drill a bigger hole to match new washout size. Then reemed hole to make smooth from bures. Place on new washout port, and screw down. Works like new.
