Genuine Shindaiwa replacement part, this item is sold individually. The Eyelet is installed in the spool housing of the Trimmers shown below. Most of the Trimmers are dual line, so two Eyelets are required. The Eyelet creates a smooth surface for the cutting line to exit the spool.

Weed eater string housing finally wore out after 20 years.

Removed old housing.
Installed new housing in reverse order per removing old housing.
Worked perfectly since the ereplacement parts were exactly the same as the manufacters. I tried a less expense third party solution without success.

I lost and Eyelet and a bracket cracked

The bracket that held on the shield was broken. Removed and replaced. Everything went great. Installed and eyelet in the spool housing

Took the carburetor of and notice that the cable had a bend on the original cable and the new one did not it had a little nub. Then I notice that the breather assembly was to big a the bottom fuel lines are small so I knew it was not going to fit. So I just put the carburetor back the way it was before I took it apart.

Eyelets worn, slots in head worn and cover worn.

Removed old head from trimmer, drove out securing bolt with punch using plastic peen hammer. Drove securing bolt into new head, installed eyelets, installed Titanium String with old spool, attached new cover and screwed head back onto trimmer.
