Product Description

?

This is a high quality Kawasaki replacement part, it is not an aftermarket alternative. It is sourced from original equipment manufacturer for use on gas powered lawn and garden equipment. By pressing on the pump-priming bulb, it will force fuel into the fuel line from the fuel tank into the carburetor. Once the carburetor is full of fuel, the excess fuel will be purged back into the tank in the fuel return line. Over time the primer will lose its elasticity or crack requiring replacement. Please note, one flexible rubber bulb is included per order.

Removed affected fuel system parts, fuel lines, grommets, carburetor and replaced with new parts. Ethanol lowers fuel economy and ruins fuel systems in everything, we all should demand an end to it\'s force use on us all.

Upon starting the fuel tank was obviously empty after all these years. First put some oil mix gas in it and tried to prime with primer bulb but it was so old and hard it just crumbled into pieces when I tried to prime it.
So I go online to see if parts are even available for it and found ereplacement.
Their website is very wel l laid out and had a complete parts list for it.
I ordered the priming bulb, a spark plug air filter element. I considered buying a new carburetor but thought no I will see how it runs or if it will run at all.
While waiting for the parts to arrive I took the blade apart as it was all rusty from the long sit cleaned and lubed that all up and when parts arrived I replaced the parts and filled the tank with some fresh premix gas and thought well here goes nothing. pulled the rope a couple of time and the thing started right up and sat there and idled. I couldn\'t believe after all that time it would run that well. It runs like a brand new trimmer. Kawasaki builds some great stuff. Buy quality products in the beginning and with ereplacement you can keep them running for years to come.
