Spark plug cap was broken and arcing

Removed old broken spark plug cap and slid new cap and coil onto wire. Placed insulater over wire,

1. Removed the spark plug cap from the wire.
2. Removed the spark plug cap coil from the wire.
3. Replaced the spark plug cap coil, gave a squeeze with pliers.
4. Filled the end of the spark plug cap with a dielectric grease, easily slip the cap back on the wire.

Removed top cover and starter cover removed the two bolts from coil removed spark plug wire. Replaced new coil set gap and starter cover. Removed air cleaner two carb bolts pulled carb off install new gasket two bolts air cleaner hooked up choke and throttle. Replaced top cover and was done . On line help was great saw ran great.

i replaced the ignition coil to set the coil to flywheel gap i use a buisness card and to put the plug boot on i just spray the inside of the new boot with silicon spray real simple

ignition coil failed

Removed the engine from the casing in order to access the coil.
Replaced the coil.
Changed out the wiring harness including the main on/off and grill switches as long as I was \'in the area\'
Reinstalled the motor in the outer casings.
Test ran the blower. (worked like new)
Advise to take photos of wiring rou ting before removing the existing
harness!

Engine misfire

1. Unbolted the engine cover
2. Unbolted the ignition coil
3. Bolted the new ignition coil (check for clearance and fit since the bolt holes are larger than the bolt itself. Otherwise, the ignition coil might scrape on the surrounding parts.)
4. Replace the engine cover
