This spark plug boot is an authentic OEM supplied replacement part, not an aftermarket equivalent. This rubber cap helps is used to connect the spark plug to the armature-magneto. Over time rubber material can dry out and crack requiring replacement. Please note, this part is sold individually.

1. Removed the spark plug cap from the wire.
2. Removed the spark plug cap coil from the wire.
3. Replaced the spark plug cap coil, gave a squeeze with pliers.
4. Filled the end of the spark plug cap with a dielectric grease, easily slip the cap back on the wire.

i replaced the ignition coil to set the coil to flywheel gap i use a buisness card and to put the plug boot on i just spray the inside of the new boot with silicon spray real simple

Go to utube and put the unit model.in there and the explanation of ignition is in there. It\'s really easy to follow.

I replaced the ignition coil, new switch and wiring and a new spark plug. Set the flywheel-ignition gap of .10. Cleaned everything up......and it started right up.
Note: it was worth fixing because i did the work........if you had to take it in for service then you might as well buy a new one.

1. Unbolted the engine cover
2. Unbolted the ignition coil
3. Bolted the new ignition coil (check for clearance and fit since the bolt holes are larger than the bolt itself. Otherwise, the ignition coil might scrape on the surrounding parts.)
4. Replace the engine cover
