This genuine OEM replacement part is specially produced for Shindaiwa and Echo handheld lawn and garden equipment. It is generally used to secure the muffler, for correct application of this hardware please make sure to check appropriate diagrams of your unit. This hex socket head bolt is made from durable metal and it is sold individually. When installing or removing this bolt you will need a hex key which is also known as an allen wrench.

... Read morerts when installing the new parts. I use 90 degree type Allen Head wrenches without handles that way I do not over tighten fasteners. I had gasket material that stuck on me around the intake portal to the piston that needed to be scrapped off, so I brought the piston to TDC and stuffed a small bit of rag in the hole to keep debris from getting inside the head.
I also bought from a local store a replacement muffler and muffler bolts and gasket that was installed during this time as well, but the store did not have the other parts I was needing.
EVERY part that I ordered from eReplacement Parts fit exactly as the old parts, I did not have to make any adjustments to the new parts to get them to fit.
When I was finished, I primed the carburetor, adjusted the choke and slid the on/off button to on, and pulled the cord one time and it fired right up. I adjusted the choke and set it down and let it idle as I put my tools up and cleaned up the area I was working in.
