This o-ring is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with Porter Cable angle grinders. It is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. It is the rubber o-ring for the metal seal. Please refer to appropriate diagram for correct location and application of this item. It is made from durable rubber material and it is sold individually. To complete this repair you will need a hex key also known as an allen wrench.

Removed the four screws from the top cover
Removed and replaced the worn parts listed
Cleaned the inside of the gun and oiled it
Screwed the top cover back on
Tested it, works like new
Needed a plastic gasket and 2 O-rings. Got the O-rings first and then realized I needed the plastic gasket.. It was obvious to see because the old gasket was in pieces
Removed back of gun
Removed broken seal and o-ring
Cleaned all debris
Oiled parts and sealing surface
Installed new parts
Placed back on
Test fired nailgun
Success
I opened the gun and replaced the parts, closed it back up and used the nailer
