Worn seals and o-rings

Removed the four screws from the top cover
Removed and replaced the worn parts listed
Cleaned the inside of the gun and oiled it
Screwed the top cover back on
Tested it, works like new

Finish nailer wouldn\'t nail

I removed the end cap of the nail gun, then noticed that the seal was broken. I clean all of the pieces out of the gun , clean the inside , then I oiled the inside of the nail gun and installed the new seal.

1. Pull the top of the cylinder off.
2. Removed old collar and seal.
3. Replaced with new collar and seal.
4. Replaced top of head.
5. Test fired.
6. Went to work

Leaking air, would not work

1. Took tool apart, full of dirt.
2. Found problem, broken seal, and collar causing nail gun to leak air and not work.
3. Clean entire nail gun, replace broken seal and collar.
4. Lubricated the inside of nail gun and put it together.
5. Put a protective cover on air disconnect to keep dirt out when not in use. ... Read more />6. Suggested to a user, lubricate with a few drops of oil for nail guns and put the protective cover on when not in use.
7. Gun fires well.

Super simple 4 allen bolts and all good. About $40 in parts and I have a nailer working that would of cost me $150 to replace

Air bypassing out top vent

1. Remove 4 Allen screws holding top housing.
2. Used needle nose pliers to pull out scattered pieces of old seal.
3. Lubed new seal with air tool oil, inserted it in place.
4. Replaced top housing, tightened Allen screws, gun was as good as new.

Would not build up pressure. Air just leaked out of the discharge port.

1. Removed discharge cover.
2. Removed 4 Allen head screws
3. Removed top of air chamber.
4. Cleaned out the pieces of seal.
5. Wiped the barrel with Vaseline to make seal slide in without marking it.
6. Put the air chamber back on and 4 screws.
7. Replaced the discharge cover.
