This is an authentic OEM replacement part compatible with a variety of Bostitch staplers and nailers. An O-ring is used to maintain a pressure seal. It is a flexible circle that fits between rigid parts. Each tool may use multiple sizes of O-ring throughout, so check manual to ensure that the right O-ring is in the right place. Plunger (driver unit) was bent and stuck in the cylinder

Disassemble unit removing 4 top cap bolts and 3 small bolts holding the guide and trigger release. Remove cylinder , old driver unit and bumper. Insert new bumper, install o-ring slide driver through slot , insert cylinder over driver and seat with tab positioned in cylinder wall. Re mount external cap and nail guides. Hook air hose and t est. Works like a new nail gun.

Removed the top cap of the nail gun
Removed the worn parts
Installed the new parts
Cleaned the inside of the gun and oiled it
Installed the top cap
Works great!
