Product Description
?This part is from original manufacturer. It is found in many models of Craftsman lawn tractor. This bearing fits between the rim and tire. A bearing secures a moving part for correct directional movement while allowing rotation. Because bearings are high-wear parts, it is not unusual to replace them often. This flange bearing is sold individually.

Hello Clifford, thank you for writing. The Flange Wheel Bearing is part 532009040. We believe this Washer 532121749 fits the flange. The Washer measures Size: 25/32 X 1-1/4 X 16 Ga. Hello Ivan, thank you for your question. We have a testimonial on our site that says how to do it. " I took the front wheel off after receiving the parts. The bad bearing had to be pounded out from the wheel housing using a chisel and hammer. This was done carefully so as to not scar the inside of the wheel housing. A shot of WD-40 helped release the bearing along with the gentle hammering. The new bearing was inserted and pressed into place using the hammer and wood block. Once the bearing was in, I lubricated the inside of the wheel housing with a standard grease gun using the wheel grease fitting. I was then able to slip the wheel on the shaft and place the two appropriate washers on the shaft and complete the job with the placement of the locking clip." We hope this helps.

Hi Mary, Thank you for your question. If your lawn tractor loses steering when the front wheels get uneven, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. We recommend checking the bearings, the gears, the shafts, the spindles, the washers, the bushings and the linkages. We have included a link from our website that you may reference on how to check these parts, https://www.ereplacementparts.com/repair-center/lawn-equipment/lawn-tractor/won't-steer-correctly/. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!
