This is an OEM replacement part for Husqvarna riding mowers. The 8X5 front rim assembly is used to hold the tube and tire as well as affix the wheel to the spindle assembly. It is made of durable metal and is sold individually. To access the part, remove the wing klip from the spindle arm and slide all the components off. You will need a set of pliers for this repair.

Took off old rim and damaged bushings, replaced needed bushings, struggled with taking tire off rim. Replaced tire on new rim, again a struggle, aired up tire, replaced on tractor and greased any fittings. Was pleased that new bushings were part of the rim assembly, was not expecting that.

This tractor was sold in 1997 with the wrong rim.

took wheel to service station to have the rims switched.
Replaced the wheel on tractor
