Why do the nuts that secure the blade to the adaptor keep shearing off?
John For model number 421176 - December 16, 2023

Hello John, thank you for your question. The shearing may be caused by over torqueing the bolts. The Bolts should be torqued to about 35 ft lbs. Replace the Hex Head Screw 532851084 as well as the Hardened Washer 532851074 and Lock Washer 596238701. Inspect the pulley adaptor to see if stripped and replace if necessary. We hope this helps.
