This replacement element air cleaner is a genuine OEM sourced item, not an aftermarket imitation. It is specially designed for use with Honda engines. This filter is used to remove contaminants from the air that goes into the carburetor. Over time it will get clogged interfering with the airflow. No tools would be needed to replace this item.
I removed motor assembly and took off clutch assembly and replaced it with new clutch assembly and replaced spark plug and air cleaner ,reassembled all parts and put grass trimmer back in service

Repair tiller broken fuel line and replace air filter, spark plug and oil.
1, Removed air cleaner and cover
2. Removed two nuts holding carb in place
3. Disconnected throttle cable and fuel lines
4. Removed old carb and gasket
5. Installed new carb and gasket.
6. Reconnected throttle cable and fuel lines
7. Replaced two nuts to hold carb in place.

9. Drained old fuel and added new ethanol-free fuel
10. Started and runs like new.
Removed the cracked air filter cover and removed the old air filter
Installed the new air filter, then the new air filter cover
