Hard to find part at an awesome price!
This generator shutoff valve was extremely hard to find. These guys had it for about 75% less than what it was being offered elsewhere. I've purchased other parts from here and am VERY happy with the pricing and also the very fast shipping. I have this site bookmarked!!

Part works
The part came in new condition. Which was great, the issue I had was they allow you to place the order for a part they don't have in stock and they take your money before they tell you that it is not in stock. I would have looked else where for the part to get it faster but, already paid for it. I got the part in a little over a month and it works. I will remember this the next time I check this site. Probably the same lame excuse everyone else uses " blame it on Covid" You will get it, eventually!

Ordered it but didn't need it
At the same time I ordered this fuel shutoff valve, I ordered a replacement gas tank for my generator. Unfortunately, nowhere in the description of the gas tank did it say this shutoff valve was already installed. So now I have an extra shutoff valve. I have no problem with the parts. I just wish the description on the gas tank had indicated it included the fuel shutoff valve.

I removed the tank which was held down with 4 bolts, flipped the tank over. The valve was broken inside of the tank so I had a mechanic to drill a new thread, inserted the shutoff valve replaced the hoses and clamps. Installed the tank, filled it and it cranked right up
First tip the generator away from the valve to keep gasoline from coming out.. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the fuel hose, loosen the tightening nut, unscrew the old valve. Make sure the filter is in snug. Screw the new valve in until the outlet points the original way, tighten the nut, reattach the fuel hose. Good to go. Easy rep

Generator would not start. Fuel old and carb gummed up.
I removed, opened up and cleaned the carb. No parts needed except new gaskets.
This was time consuming but saved over $50.
The spark plug and air duct were old, rusted and damaged. Replacement was simple.
The valve for the fuel tank was essential. The part was a perfect replacement.
Removed the gas
... Read more tank, cleaned thoroughly, put new valve (with integral fuel screen) in place (do not over tighten), and the unit runs like new. Old valve was restricted and fuel flow was weak.
1. Remove remainder of shutoff threads from tank.
2. Clean threads in tank using thread removal tool and tap and die.
3. Apply appropriate thread compound.
4. Install shutoff being careful not to over tightening.
5. Reinstall tank. Attach fuel line.
6. Add fuel. Check for leaks.
7. Job complete.
Drained gas from tank, removed tank. Unscrewed valve and screwed in new valve. Replaced gas tank to generator. Reattached valve to carburetor, filled gas tank, turned on gas, two pulls and back running. The new valve came complete, just had to screw it into tank. The part came to house in a few days. Completely Satisfied.
Removed old valve and put in new one in ( new valve was not exacted replacement unit is very old !7 years.) Also had to replace fuel line because of the new valve. and new clamps . new hose is about 3 inches longer . everything is working great .
Tilted generator to keep gas away from valve Removed fuel line from fuel shutoff valve loosed nut on valve turned valve counter clockwise to remove install in reverse order it took 5 minutes to complete the job
