First tip the generator away from the valve to keep gasoline from coming out.. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the fuel hose, loosen the tightening nut, unscrew the old valve. Make sure the filter is in snug. Screw the new valve in until the outlet points the original way, tighten the nut, reattach the fuel hose. Good to go. Easy rep air, exact replacement. Excellent price and quick shipment.

I removed, opened up and cleaned the carb. No parts needed except new gaskets.
This was time consuming but saved over $50.

The spark plug and air duct were old, rusted and damaged. Replacement was simple.

The valve for the fuel tank was essential. The part was a perfect replacement.
Removed the gas tank, cleaned thoroughly, put new valve (with integral fuel screen) in place (do not over tighten), and the unit runs like new. Old valve was restricted and fuel flow was weak.

Drained gas from tank, removed tank. Unscrewed valve and screwed in new valve. Replaced gas tank to generator. Reattached valve to carburetor, filled gas tank, turned on gas, two pulls and back running. The new valve came complete, just had to screw it into tank. The part came to house in a few days. Completely Satisfied.
