Remove air cleaner cover - remove air cleaner element - remove 2 10mm nuts located in air cleaner housing - remove housing by sliding off studs - detach spring return from carburetor - remove carburetor by sliding off studs - reverse steps for installation.
Carburetor and intake Gaskets should be replaced during installation.

Generator would not start. Fuel old and carb gummed up.

I removed, opened up and cleaned the carb. No parts needed except new gaskets.
This was time consuming but saved over $50.

The spark plug and air duct were old, rusted and damaged. Replacement was simple.

The valve for the fuel tank was essential. The part was a perfect replacement.
Removed the gas tank, cleaned thoroughly, put new valve (with integral fuel screen) in place (do not over tighten), and the unit runs like new. Old valve was restricted and fuel flow was weak.

Found breather tube with cracked end.

I was restoring this generator to flip. During inspection I discovered the cracked breather tube. Replaced with good breather tube by spraying a little WD-40 inside the end that fits on the air filter housing and outside the end that fits into the valve cover. This makes it easy to slide the ends into place.
