The purpose of a carburetor is to mix the air and the gas before the combustible mixture goes to the engine. If the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, or if the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. When replacing carburetor it is advised that you also replace carburetor gaskets to ensure an air-tight seal for optimum performance. Keep in mind this high-quality metal body carburetor with a rubber primer bulb is sold individually.
