Built by Ariens for a perfect fit, it’s reversible for twice the life and helps keep your auger at the right height to avoid scraping surfaces. Works on many Ariens models like Classic, Deluxe, and Pro. Installing it is easy—just swap out the old shoe and tighten the bolts.
I used my socket set to remove the the scraper bar & skid shoes. Once I got the old pieces off I used my grinding tool to remove the excess dirt & paint that had chipped off. I then went out & bought paint primer & paint & went over the parts where the paint had peeled & where the rust started showing. I also replace some hardware items.
Blocked up front off the ground. Squirted Blaster on the nuts let set to make removal easy. Unscrewed nuts removed old runners, put new runner on and adjusted tolerance to pick up snow easily. Finished.
