This authentic manufacturer-approved replacement bolt is designed for use with Ariens snow blowers and throwers. It secures the slide shoe to the side of the blower housing and features a square section beneath the head that locks in place, allowing the lock nut to be tightened securely. This design ensures a stable and reliable fit during operation. The bolt is sold individually, and a wrench is required for installation or removal.
I used my socket set to remove the the scraper bar & skid shoes. Once I got the old pieces off I used my grinding tool to remove the excess dirt & paint that had chipped off. I then went out & bought paint primer & paint & went over the parts where the paint had peeled & where the rust started showing. I also replace some hardware items.
Removed the old scraper blade and installed the new one. I needed 3 mounting bolts, 3 nuts and 3 washers to attach the scraper blade.
