Product Description

?

This replacement scraper blade is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with Ariens snow blowers. These scrapers scrapers are designed to clear the ground from the leftover snow. Because this part is constantly grinding against the concrete and other surfaces it will wear out over time requiring replacement. Generally you will be able to tell that the scraper is worn, because it leave patches of snow behind the blower. Please note, paddles and scrapers are designed to wear at approximately the same rate, so it\\\'s always a good idea to replace them both at the same time. This steel scraper blade is sold individually. Replacing it is a simple task that will require a wrench. • Disconnect the spark plug • Remove the scraper bolts • Remove the old scraper • Press the new scraper onto the lip of the impeller • Secure the scraper using the hardware

I used my socket set to remove the the scraper bar & skid shoes. Once I got the old pieces off I used my grinding tool to remove the excess dirt & paint that had chipped off. I then went out & bought paint primer & paint & went over the parts where the paint had peeled & where the rust started showing. I also replace some hardware items.
