... Read morelt was necessary as well as removing some pulleys to get the belts off and on. Purchasing the parts for the spindles was much less expensive than purchasing the assembled spindle, and not that difficult to assemble. Initially I did not think I had a choice but with a little more digging I found the individual bearings and sleeve parts. I did not have the 1\" socket needed to hold the nut on the fly wheel in place while removing the pully below so I used a pipe wrench between the two pulleys to hold the drive shaft in place when removing and installing the bolt below to drop the pulleys. I was concerned that I would twist the bolt off on the bottom of the drive shaft so called Sears to make sure it was not reverse threaded. Last thing I needed was to have to drill out a broken bolt. It turns out that the bolt was just very tough to loosen.
