This authentic replacement part is designed for use with Murray, Simplicity and Snapper snowblowers. Flange bearings are used to provide support for a shaft while reducing friction between rotating parts. The rollers take the load and spin, distributing the weight evenly while the minimal contact area of the roller reduces friction. Bearings experience constant wear from pressure, heat, vibration, and friction. Because of this, many bearings need to be periodically replaced. Make sure to check the diagrams of your model for the exact location and the correct installation of this component. It is sold individually. You will need a screwdriver and a wrench set to take apart the housing in order to gain access to this flange bearing. Keep in mind the screws utilized to secure this component are sold separately.
