?

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part used on many lawn tractor machines. The flat idler pulley by Toro is constructed of metal, and is fitted onto the transmission belt and pulley system. Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.

Both of the transmission belts cracked and stretched - loss drive. Two pulleys were seized one on the tranny and one on the drive belt tightener

1. Pulled out the battery, took off the brake and go pedals, took off the seat assy, unbolted the body and pulled it off. put the frt wheels on a lift from Harbor frt and jacked it up. removed the large tranny pully, the idler pully and the rear long belt pulley. unbolted the drive belt tightener pully assy, pulled out the single guide pi n which is up frt, dropped the frt drive pulley and removed the belt. i should mention here that this is all done after pulling out the cutting deck. reversed the work to repair. This is not a quickie job but with the radio on and a couple of beers it really wasn\'t that bad. The parts cost me $132 but the local repair shop wanted $600 for the repair. Took me about total 8 hrs to complete the repair - time included some BS time with the neighbors who are curious ( who don\'t know which end of a screwdriver to use). If you have a friend or two who don\'t mind getting their hands dirty it goes a lot quicker. Mine is a Toro LX420
