This o-ring is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with Porter Cable staplers and nailers. Its purpose is to provide an air tight seal for cylinder. Over time gaskets and o-rings may deteriorate and crack eventually requiring replacement. Please note this durable rubber item is sold individually.
Removed the top and pulled out the piston and cleaned out all residue. Then replaced the o-rings and seal. Lubricated the O-rings with white lithium grease and put back together. Like new again.
1. Took nailer apart.
2. Ordered parts.
3. Cleaned nailer.
4. Installed new parts.
5. Tested nailer.
6. Complete job nailer working good as new.
