This replacement seal is an authentic OEM sourced item, it is not an aftermarket imitation. It is specially designed for use with Porter Cable staplers and nailers. This is the seal for the cylinder cap. It is made from durable composite material and it is sold individually. Replacing this item you will need a hex key also known as an allen wrench.

finish gun nail driver piston would not return to firing position

Opened up the piston cylinder head and found the piston grip had shattered. Used the handy dandy E replacement parts diagram to order the parts, and that was that.

Removed the top and pulled out the piston and cleaned out all residue. Then replaced the o-rings and seal. Lubricated the O-rings with white lithium grease and put back together. Like new again.
