Removed the top cap (part # 109) on the Porter Cable 250 A finish nailer.
Found the piston grip (part # 115) in MANY tiny pieces and washer (part #114) was badly bent.
Cleaned out all the broken pieces and relubricated. Ordered the new parts from ereplacentparts.com.
Installed the new replacement piston grip and washer.
(Helpful hint: use 2 longer bolts to help get the top cap back on, then replace with the 4 normal length bolts).
Repair time did not include the ordering and delivery time of the parts.

1- I removed the top of the nail gun (4 allen head bolts)
2- It was easy to see the damaged parts
3- I looked up the parts on eReplacementparts.com (super easy. Bookmark these guys)
4- Ordered the parts and while waiting, cleaned up the nail gun.
5- When parts arrived (on time and exactly what I needed) I installe d the new parts and re-assembled the nail gun
6- Once everything was done, I hooked it up to my compressor and tested it.
7- DONE!

Repair was so easy, it would be a beginner level repair job. If I had thee parts on hand it would be under a half hour job.
