The check seal fits between the o-ring and the cylinder sleeve ring. This is a genuine replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with Bostitch nailers and is available as an individual replacement. It is made out of rubber and will need to be replaced if it breaks. A screwdriver may be needed to help with the replacement of this part.

Air leak and random nail fire when connecting air hose

Replaced all of the internal o-rings. A complete rebuild kit is no longer available. I also replaced the trigger assembly. My Bostitch nail gun now works like new again!

After ordering a complete o ring kit and replacing the o rings I still had the same issue where air was leaking from the exhaust cover. I had to order and replace the head valve o ring again and that took care of the issue.
