Lune Pawl and worm gear bad!

Got sand in the worm gear and bent a groove so line guide stuck to one side.

Took apart reel until I was able to get to worm gear.
Pulled pawl out of the gear and line guide so I could pull out the old worm gear and replace.
Put the pawl back in the grooves of the gear and screwed cover on.
Put reel back together with oil on the new gear.
When reeling in my real, my line no longer leveled

Removed Line pawl.
Remove side cover of real
Remove worm gear retainer
Slid out worm gear
Insert worm gear
Replace worm gear retainer
Replace side cover reel
Insert Line Pawl
Replace line Pawl screw cap
Line bunched up on one side when I reeled the shaft grooves were flattened new shaft line flows smoothly side to side.

Plastic gear was brittle and teeth were broken. Worm and paw were worn.

2. Unhooked worm retainer clip and unscrewed paw retainer cover.
3. Pulled out old parts and put back new ones.
4. Cut the retainer lip off the gear attached to the cover and removed it.
5. Popped the new one in its place.
Two abu garcia the worm gear was damaged and the shimano the paw cap was missing got all three reels fixed and running again.

2. Removed and replaced all gears and pawl
3. Put reel grease on all moving parts.
4. Replace left side cover.
Worm shaft was wore out. Line would not reel correctly.
