This friction washer is an OEM direct from Abu Garcia. Compatible with Ambassadeur Fishing Reels, the compound material washer is made to balance the pressure and create a seal for the components in the spool. A screwdriver and a nut driver are often required for making the replacement. The friction washer is sold individually.
1. Removed reel tension knob.
2. Used tooth pick to remove rubber ball.
3. Greased new parts and placed them in tension knob.
4. Replaced tension knob.
