Bought new parts and installed. Built my own brace to help support and relieve stress on the bolt
Put new deck belt on and greased all the bearings put back together and it ran great.
Removed mowing deck and cleaned it. Replaced idler pulley and belt. Lubed grease zerks at blade pulleys. Re-installed pulley covers and mowing deck. Adjusted belt tension. Tested mower successfully.

Mower unit missing discharge chute and Mtg. h/w; also Zerk lube nipples were missing.
Installed the new plastic discharge chute and associated hardware (bolt, retaining washer,spring)
Drove lube nipples into the existing lube holes on each Zerks with plastic headed hammer.
I may need to tap and thread one of the Zerk lube locations because the new nipple came out after lubing.
