Loose pulleys

Remove the deck from the mower, note how the belt is routed. Remove the nut securing the belt keeper, washers, idler pulley, and the idler bushing and remove them. Remove the bolt securing the stationary idler pulley and remove it. Remove the bolt securing the idler arm and remove it. Install all of the parts that were removed in reverse order. Put the belt back on. Install the deck to the mower.

all three deflector pulleys went bad. ate belt. all went good for a man of 77.

loosed the deck belt and removed old idler pulley and put new one on and then tighten the deck belt again
