Locate the solenoid, remove the connections to it and separate them. Then remove the old solenoid and install the new one, then replace the wires. Tractor started right up.

Wouldn\'t turn over. Jumped the solenoid and it started.
The starter was visible and easy to reach.
Removed the negative cable from battery
Use a socket wrench to remove the two nuts.
Removed the solenoid
Replaced old solenoid with new one
Replace negative battery cable
Inserted the key to ignition
Lawn tractor started up
Disconnected the battery
Unscrewed 1 sheet metal screw
Unscrewed two terminal nuts
Disconnected two wires from starter solenoid
The reversed how I tore it down
Easy peasy to do.

When engaged, had a severe voltage drop. Starter running slow.
Removed the cables from the battery and the old solenoid. Removed the old solenoid and replaced it with the new one. Installed all the cables, and it started right up.
