This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement part. It is commonly utilized on Bostitch nailers. The piston bumper will keep the piston from hitting the bottom of the cylinder and damaging it. Because this item is constantly under pressure, it will eventually crack and fall apart requiring replacement. This item is made out of plastic material and it is sold individually.
