Product Description

?

This is a genuine Hoover-made filter used in WindTunnel and Elite vacuums. It fits inside of the dirt cup lid. This filter is designed to be rinsable; for best performance, rinse it every two months or if System Check Indicator light is on. Replace it when damaged or when rinsing no longer cleans it. This filter is sold individually. To Clean This Filter: • Hold filter under running water for at least two minutes • Squeeze filter underwater twice • Remove from water; squeeze one more time to remove excess water • Dry filter on edge so that air circulates on both sides • Drying may take up to 48 hours • Allow filter to dry completely before reinstalling

I replaced the primary filter (I had cleaned this many times prior, but had forgotten to recently)
(It was quite dirty)
Additionally I took apart the turbine (wind tunnel tubes?) assembly and thoroughly cleaned it all out.
I dried it out & reassembled.
I then replaced the exhaust filter (hepa) and the carbon filter with it
It now works as good as new and does not cut out during vacuuming anymore

I slid out the Exhaust Filter and slid the new one in. It took 30 seconds. Secondly, I removed the canister, twisted the top off, pride the Primary Filter out of its holder, slipped in the new one, put the cap back on and reinstalled the canister. Done in about a minute.
