This is an OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Hoover vacuums. This filter helps to keep the air clean. This part is made out of plastic with paper filter material and it is sold individually. No tools are required to replace this Filter. You can simply remove the old filter from the vacuum cleaner and replace it with the new one. Designed according to strict HEPA standards, the media in this filter trap particles 75 times smaller than a human hair, including 99.97% of dust mite debris, animal dander, molds and pollen down to 0.3 microns.

My wife told me to buy her a new vacuum, I looked at the prices and said to myself I can fix this , ordered my parts and did the repair she is sooo happy for far less saved about $160.00

I removed the screws in the filter (under the dirt cup) removed the filter, inspected ans found that it was clogged with drywall dust. I ordered a new part ( no longer available from Hoover} and replaced it. It was under $20.00 and my vac was as good as new.
