Product Description

?

This replacement blower wheel is specially manufactured for Broan and Nutone ceiling fans/heaters. This wheel is also known as squirrel cage fits inside the housing on the motor shaft. As it rotates it will produce an airflow. Over time it may warp rotating irregularly which can result in unwanted noise and/or poor performance. This wheel is made out of plastic and it is sold individually. Please note the hardware to secure it to the motor is sold separately. Repair is fairly easy, requiring only a screwdriver. • Unplug the unit first • Remove the cover • Separate the blower wheel from the shaft • Secure the new wheel on the motor shaft • Reassemble and test

Motor burned out

Tools:

Parts Used:

Removed fan assembly. Removed motor and impeller. Installed new impeller on new motor. Installed new motor to fan assembly. Replaced fan in ceiling. Biggest problem was that I misplaced one of the fan assembly screws to screw the fan back into its box in the ceiling and had to Gerry rig a new screw. Also, could not remember where motor\ 's ground wire had been grounded to, so had to drill a new hole in the metal box for grounding screw. Other than those two bone headed stupidities, it was very simple.
