This is an authentic air cleaner element which is specially designed for Makita gas powered trimmers/brush cutters and blowers. This item filters out dust and debris from entering the engine. It is made out of fabric material and it is sold individually. Please note, the foam filter is sold separately. To replace this filter you will need a screwdriver. • Simply remove the screw that secures the cover • Remove the cover • Remove old element • Secure the new filter element • Reattach the cover
Replaced spark plug and gapped it at approximately 0.8mm, then removed the air cleaner cover and removed the old air filters and replace them with the new ones.

Air filter Cover broke off at the screw and parts were lost
Removed old cover which was taped in place, replaced filters and screwed new cover in place.
