Firebox just dropped in! The igniter has a battery in it that you will want to remove. I put a new battery in the new module. I then loosened the plastic nut holding the module to the grill. I placed the new module where the old one was and tightened the plastic nut. I then transferred the wires from the old module to the new one, exchang ing one wire at a time. The grill fired right up.

I did not know which of the parts was malfunctioning. The cost of the parts was reasonable, so I replaced both the electronic ignition module and the igniter switch module. The ignition module had instructions, the work was very easy, anyone can do it. Simply take your time, mark the wires so you know where to attach the new wires. The gr ill lights up like new.

Replaced the ignitor which had quit working. Verified it was the ignitor by imstalling a new battery, then \"hot wiring\" the button circuit. Easy 5 minute job to replace. Removed old ignitor, Unplugged the 4 wires and plugged into the new ignitor one by one, then attached the new ignitor. Installed the battery and done.

Watched two very short, instructional YouTube videos produced by eReplacementParts.com. The YouTube videos were easy to follow, extremely helpful, and allowed me to replace the switch and module on my grill, easily and without any problems. These are the links to them.

Not rocket science. Take part off move wires to same position on the new module and put it back in place. Still a bit intermittent but don\'t think it is not the new unit. I would recommend going all in and replacing the switch and the spark unit (sure there is probably another technical name) as long as you are going to the trouble. Live in a hot humid area which takes a toll on these kind of parts.

It was very easy to repair, simply had to undo the small plastic nut and remove the unit. Then with pliers pull off the 4 clips and place them on the new module, and then put the plastic nut back on, and put the new battery in. Worked Great!
